Saarbrücken 01.06.2021 - SmartLynx Airlines started flying for TUI Deutschland in Germany with its first flight from Saarbrücken to Palma de Mallorca. The first flight from Basel to Rhodes is following on the 05.06.2021.

For summer 2021, it will operate on behalf of TUI Deutschland full-charter flights from Saarbrücken and Basel/ Mulhouse to tourist destinations around the Mediterranean and Canary Islands.

Oliver Pawel, SmartLynx Country Manager Germany, says about the entry into the German tourism business: "We are glad that we were able to get TUI Deutschland on board, the leading European tour operator. According to Pawel, the airline offers an easy-to-use booking platform where additional services such as seats, extra baggage or even sports equipment can be booked with just a few clicks. With a view to further expansion plans, the Country Manager adds: "Together with TUI, we hope to be able to expand the offer at other airports in Germany as well."
